Add to wishlistSoriana chaise longue and pouf by Afra and Tobia Scarpa with original leather upholstery, coming from the first Cassina production.
Soriana was an intuitive vision by Afra and Tobia Scarpa in 1969, destined to rewrite the history of upholstered furniture.
Taking advantage of the new techniques for forming polyurethane foam they created an armchair which, for the first time, did not need internal support thus intensifying the comfort level and taking shape from the grip of the metal structure that houses it.
In 1970 Soriana was awarded the Compasso d’Oro as a masterpiece of complexity achieved through simple tools.
