Bastiano 2 seater sofa designed by Tobia Scarpa. Supporting structure in rosewood. Flying cushions with polyurethane bottom and top in feather on covered steel elastic straps. Original upholstery in leather.
A simple wooden frame for a leather “classic sofa” which no longer needed an upholsterer or a carpenter. The solution adopted for the feet takes us back to the great Viennese school: it would radically effect the following production of chairs and furniture.
Also available another wooden structure without cushions.
