Paradisoterrestre at Arte Fiera 2025 with works by Augusto Betti

Since 2022 historic Italian design brand Paradisoterrestre has embarked on a journey to rediscover and enhance the work of Augusto Betti, one of the least known and most surprising creative minds of the 20th century with the exhibitions Augusto Betti – Trasversale • Pulsazione • Ritmo at Paradisoterrestre gallery in Bologna and Augusto Betti. Artista e designer at Fondazione Sozzani in Milan; by including in its catalogue the re-editions of his design pieces and by acquiring the complete archive from his heirs.

On view his first artistic experimentations of the late 1950s with the very rare artworks from the “cassette (boxes)” series, a scenographic display of “semisfere (half-spheres)” – presented here for the first time by Paradisoterrestre – and the resin and fiberglass sculptures of the 1960s including the masterpiece Orgonoscopio, exhibited in 1967 at VI Biennale d’arte Repubblica di San Marino. The booth is completed with Paradisoterrestre design re-editions of Prisma and Noodle armchairs, Glass coffee table and limited edition ceramics and with important historical pieces coming directly from the archive.
