1:1 reproduction of the “casa nella casa/house within the house”, a sort of refuge, a “cube” in which to isolate oneself, which Dino Gavina created inside his own home.
Featured in Domus issue nr. 631 (September 1982), the “casa nella casa/house within the house” has been rebuilt thanks to the collaboration with his daughter Ilka Alessandra Gavina.
Presented for the first time at ADI Design Museum Compasso d’Oro in Milan for the 2022 Design Week, it has been exhibited later the same year in Bologna in the prestigious institutional venue of Sala d’Ercole in Palazzo d’Accursio on the occasion of the exhibition Cento % Dino to celebrate the centenary of Gavina’s birth.
