After the collections The Other Side (2017) and All Around (2018) and the fabrics Fiori and Futuristi, See Through is the new armchair designed by Pierre Gonalons for Paradisoterrestre, the latest outcome of the strong and steady collaboration between the internationally renowned designer based in Paris and the historic design brand.
See Through armchair will be previewed at AD Intérieurs 2019, the most exclusive design event in Paris organized by AD France, which this year celebrates the important milestone of the tenth edition. An annual exhibition that every September, on the occasion of Maison & Object and the Paris Design Week, brings together top interior designers selected by the French magazine. Every talent has carte blanche to design a room that illustrates their style, thus staging a complete panorama of the most current international trends of contemporary living.
With his Jardin d’hiver Pierre Gonalons offers a poetic reinterpretation of the winter garden as it was conceived in the nineteenth century. In this environment studied down to the smallest detail, from wallpaper to floor covering, See Through armchair fits well with the beautiful plant motifs fabric A la table du roi by La Maison Pierre Frey.
See Through collection signed by Pierre Gonalons will soon be completed with a sofa.
“Inspired by Paradisoterrestre conceptual spirit, See Through revisits the 70’s mood. A cube characterized by round openings on three sides, which transports us in time and space: perfect in a luxury hotel in Monaco or in a jazz club in Tokyo.”
