In 1967 Augusto Betti took part with Orgonoscopio at “Sesta Biennale d’arte Repubblica di San Marino – Nuove tecniche d’Immagine” chaired by Giulio Carlo Argan, Palma Bucarelli, Umbro Apollonio, Gian Alberto dall’Acqua. [VIDEO]
In the artist’s own words:
“This sarcophagus could also be an attempt to retain (closed circuit) the light energy (bioluminescence) that from the lenticular surface is constantly captured by the internal wire mesh and fluctuates.”
