Eureka seat in bronze by Roberto Matta with engraved artist’s signature and Fonderia Bonvicini mark. Edition II/IV with numbering engraved on one foot. This piece is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.

Eureka is complementary to Urraka bronze seat and the title creates a play on words with it. If seen together, the two seats somehow represent a human figure which on one is shown with its legs in the air, on another with its hands raised.

The title Eureka certainly refers to Archimedes’ famous expression and perhaps alludes to the idea of the extractable table as a discovery that changes the appearance of the seat by multiplying its functionality.
